Navigation

At Survival Day Camp you'll learn essential outdoor skills like building shelters, starting fires safely with and without matches, sourcing and purifying water, and basic first aid for injuries; you'll practice map reading and compass navigation, identify plants, set up emergency signaling, and master knot-tying.

You’ll also develop teamwork and leadership through group problem-solving challenges, learn Leave No Trace principles to care for God’s creation, and grow in resilience, confidence, and stewardship as you apply practical skills in hands-on stations and guided wilderness scenarios.
