At Camas Meadows Bible Camp, we believe every child and family should have the opportunity to experience the life-changing community, faith formation, and outdoor fun God provides at camp.

Prioritizing camper scholarships is central to our mission: we commit to making camp accessible by offering need-based financial assistance so that cost is not a barrier to participation.

Scholarship Policy and Protocol

• Eligibility: Scholarships are given to all who apply, based on demonstrated financial need for campers and families who cannot afford full camp fees. Financial assistance is given to low-income families and applicants with special circumstances (e.g., recent job loss, medical expenses).

• Application: Families request assistance by completing a short scholarship form when registering for camp. Information requested is limited to what is needed to apply for grants and is kept confidential.

• Amount: Scholarships may cover a portion or full camp fees depending on requests. We strive to offer what is requested so as many campers as possible can attend.

• Decision and Notification: If a scholarship request has been made and the application form is completed, financial aid is given and communicated upon registration.

• Confidentiality and Respect: All applications are handled with compassion and privacy. Scholarship recipients are treated the same as other campers and receive full access to programming.

• Funding: Scholarships are supported through the generous designated donations for our Scholarship Fund and if needed, the camp’s operating budget.
