My name is Hestia and I’ve been a part of the youth staff for 3 summers.
As a graduation requirement, my high school requires that I research and complete a project that reflects what I want to do later in life. After spending some time reflecting on my experiences at Camas, I decided to work with Chiquita to develop an online storefront for the existing and future Camas Meadows merchandise. Our goal is to make readily available t-shirts, sweatshirts, and stickers that help our staff and camper families rep camp!
This project expanded during and after the Labor Mountain fire that came uncomfortably close to the place that we all love so much. Originating from a joke making light of the circumstances, we decided that the message "On Fire for Jesus" was well suited for the situation. The desire for the fire crewneck is that we can raise a little extra money to support camp and the resources lost during that stressful time. I hope it serves as a reminder of God's grace and the power of community when our camp family is facing periods of difficulty, and will bring to mind how we can push through hard times when we rely on His love.
I really hope that you can take some time to consider supporting Camas Meadows by purchasing the new sweatshirt, or if it's not your style, one of the other past camp t-shirts. I don't know about the shirts, but I can guarantee the crewneck will be fire Thank you so much for your support!
