Camas Meadows Young Adult Discipleship Program
We invite passionate young adults (ages 18–25) to join a seasonal discipleship training program rooted in Christ, community, and outdoor ministry. Designed to deepen spiritual formation, develop leadership for local churches and camps, and equip participants to serve with confidence and compassion, this program blends intentional discipleship, hands-on ministry, and outdoor living.
Core Goals
Deepen Relationship with Jesus: Daily rhythms of worship, Scripture study, prayer, and spiritual direction to cultivate a mature, resilient faith.
Grow in Biblical Knowledge and Theology: Structured classes and discussion groups covering biblical interpretation, Christian doctrine, apologetics, and mission-minded living.
Develop Leadership & Ministry Skills: Practical training in small group leadership, teaching, pastoral care, event planning, and youth ministry techniques.
Equip for Outdoor and Retreat Ministry: Hands-on experience running camp programs, leading retreats, outdoor skills, safety & risk management, and guest hospitality.
Form Lifelong Christian Community: Intentional community life that fosters accountability, discipleship pairs, and mentoring relationships with staff and local pastors.
Program Structure
Duration: 5-10 months. Varying lengths starting October (10 months), January (7.5 months) and April (5 months) all ending September 1st. Each quarter includes 10 week discipleship training sessions and ends in 10 weeks of service.
Weekly Rhythm: Community living, Scripture study, small group discussion, mentorship, job training, ministry practice, and service days.
Monthly Components: Leadership workshops, guest lecturers, off site adventures and more.
End of Program Intensive: Summer camp staffing rotation for real-world application of ministry and skills.

Support & Logistics
Location: Camas Meadows Bible Camp—beautiful off-grid outdoor setting ideal for formation and ministry practice.
Housing: On-site community living with shared rooms, dinner provided—or commuter options for local participants. (maybe not a good idea? but it could work…)
Tuition: $2250 per 10 week session with optional work-to-stay model, scholarships and fundraising support. (Weekends you could earn $150 / week long service is $375 - can have the option to work-to-stay to pay off balance) $250 non refundable deposit for supplies, job related training and ???
Commitment: Full participation in program rhythms, service assignments, and community life. Minimum 5 month commitment.
