Spring Break Survival Camp

Need a break from screens and cabin fever? Send your kids to Camas Meadows’ Spring Break Survival Day Camp — a fun, faith-filled day camp where kids (grades 3–6) spend their break outdoors with hands-on adventure, team games, nature exploration, Bible stories, and crafts that tie God’s truth to everyday life.

Our caring staff lead safe, age-appropriate activities on our scenic Camas Meadows, give children room to be silly and curious, and build friendships grounded in kindness and faith — all while giving parents a reliable, loving place for a day of learning, adventure and spiritual growth.

Navigation

At Survival Day Camp you'll learn essential outdoor skills like building shelters, starting fires safely with and without matches, sourcing and purifying water, and basic first aid for injuries; you'll practice map reading and compass navigation, identify safe and edible plants, set up emergency signaling, and master knot-tying and simple rope rescues.

You’ll also develop teamwork and leadership through group problem-solving challenges, learn Leave No Trace principles to care for God’s creation, and grow in resilience, confidence, and stewardship as you apply practical skills in hands-on stations and guided wilderness scenarios.
