Camas Meadows Scholarship Fund
In 2023 we were able to give 40 campers partial & full scholarships to attend camp!
Our goal is to raise $15,000 to help even more campers join us this year!
Through the generosity of donors and supporters, the fund enables children and youth from diverse socio-economic backgrounds to experience the transformative power of a summer camp experience.
These scholarships help remove financial barriers and ensure that all young people have the opportunity to benefit from the fun, growth, and community found at our camp programs.
The scholarship fund at Camas Meadows Bible Camp plays a crucial role in making our programs accessible to all youth, regardless of their financial circumstances.
Every contribution to the scholarship fund helps us ensure that no child is turned away due to financial constraints, enabling us to fulfill our mission of reaching and impacting as many lives as possible.
“[My son] looked forward to going back again this last summer, but due to a career change in the family, money wasn’t quite as available to register. The scholarship fund allowed us to still send him. And it was such a blessing to him (and us) because he said he had been feeling he was falling away, but that this time at camp brought him back to what he knows and believes. We are so thankful for Camas Meadows Bible Camp!”
How do kids get scholarships?
Our financial assistance program policy is: pay what you can and we'll cover the rest.
Here's how that works:
Families will register their child(ren) for camp.
When they get to the payment area there is an option to choose "Financial Assistance" with the option to make a deposit.
After they register, we ask that they pursue their home church scholarships or private donations first, to help us offset the costs. Any checks or payments are applied to their registration. It’s okay if they don’t have any additional payments.
We utilize our general scholarship fund to cover any remaining balance.
